maxGUARD electronic fuses incorporate the best of both traditional fuses and circuit breakers. These devices are designed to protect 24 V DC circuits from over current and short circuits. Modules with a thickness of 6 or 12 mm, depending on the selected rating, can be used as standard fuses for a fixed current rating of 1.2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 A, there are also two modules with the ability to select a current rating of 1/2 / 3/4/5/6 A and 4/6/8/10/12 A.
The electronic fuse is a semiconductor reusable device that can be cocked after use either by pressing a button directly on the device or by a remote signal from the controller. The advanced functionality of the devices includes the ability to signal the operation of the device, and when using additional modules, alarms that the load current exceeds 90% of the nominal. These modules allow you to connect two device poles at once – plus goes through the protection device, minus goes through the through terminal. As an option, modules are available that open two circuits at once. The maximum load on an assembly with one input module is 40 A.
