Характеристики товара

When the temperature of the liquid medium must be lower than the temperature of the air or liquid used to cool the system, an active liquid cooler is required.

The cooling circuit provides the necessary cooling effect. The refrigerant compressor drives the cooling circuit. Depending on the application requirements, the chiller will contain an air or water cooled condenser.

  • In most cases, one or more fans supply air through a condenser. The heat removed from the carrier then enters the atmosphere as warm air. Although such a chiller is a completely independent device that does not require any additional components, it will heat the atmosphere and generate a higher noise level from the fans.
  • Where there is a source of cooling water, heat from the condenser can be removed to this stream. As a rule, these can be centralized plumbing machines or raw water supply systems (for example, ground or river water). If necessary, a secondary circuit with a closed circuit can be introduced to isolate water, which is potentially corrosive to the refrigeration unit. The warm water returned from the chiller can then be used for other purposes, which reduces overall energy consumption. Water-cooled chillers are quieter and require no air circuit maintenance, but require additional components to function.
